How Confidrex™ Works
How Confidrex Works
Clinically Supported Science Delivers Real World Results Confidrex® is specifically formulated to promote focus & calmness, while mediating the mental and physical symptoms caused by stressful social situations. By interacting with the brain’s emotional pathways, the ingredients in Confidrex® have been shown to deliver an alert state of relaxation without causing drowsiness.

A proprietary combination of twelve Minerals, Vitamins, Amino Acids, Herbs, and Botanicals was carefully developed for optimal results.
Ingredients
Niacinamide
(Vitamin B3)
Niacinamide is a form of niacin (also known as Vitamin B3) that has anti-anxiety properties. Unlike regular niacin, however, niacinamide does not cause flushing or stress the liver. In several studies, Niacinamide has been shown to improve mood as well as induce a calm feeling in people suffering from panic disorders and social anxiety.
Panax Ginseng Panax ginseng is considered an adaptagenic because it helps bring balance to the body. It has been shown in studies to enhance the body's resistance to external stresses and improve physical and mental performance. It helps support the body’s ability to cope with physical, mental and emotional stress and fatigue. Panax ginseng users may feel relaxed and calm, yet energized and invigorated at the same time.
Potassium Potassium is a mineral essential to the body for normalizing blood pressure and conducting nerve impulses. Maintaining proper potassium levels is essential for oxygenating the brain and sustaining stable blood pressure. Stress and acute anxiety can result in potassium deficiency. Potassium is one of the greatest natural tools available for restoring the body’s energy.
Magnolia Bark Magnolia Bark (magnolia officinalis) has been a part of Eastern medicine for thousands of years. It has been used to treat low energy as well as digestive disturbances caused by emotional distress and emotional turmoil. Research has shown that honokiol, an active ingredient in Magnolia Bark, may be effective in promoting a positive mood without sedation effects. Medical research indicates that magnolia bark's anti-stress benefits are linked to its ability to control levels of the body's primary stress hormone, cortisol.
Pyridoxine
(Vitamin B6)
Pyridoxine is one of the compounds that can be called Vitamin B6. B6 is an essential vitamin that the body is unable to produce on its own. Therefore, it must be replenished everyday through diet. Pyridoxine is required to synthesize Gamma-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA). GABA is an amino acid that acts as a neurotransmitter in the central nervous system. Its function is to decrease neuron activity and inhibit nerve cells from over-firing.

GABA works to turn off stress hormones such as adrenaline, which helps to reduce the onset of anxiety and panic attacks. Pyridoxine is also involved in converting tryptophan to serotonin, the latter of which affects both anxiety and overall mood. Supplementing a balanced diet with Vitamin B6 has been clinically shown to promote a healthy neurotransmitter balance and healthy nervous system function.
Magnesium Magnesium is perhaps the most essential mineral, responsible for activating energy production, the nervous system, and heart and brain function. It also impacts how the body reacts to the stress response, commonly called the “fight or flight” response. When faced with a perceived threat, most people will experience a rapid heartbeat, heightened perspiration, and increased breathing rate.

For performers suffering from stage fright and other forms of performance anxiety, the “fight or flight” response triggers easily and the symptoms can be very intense. If this reaction is not controlled, the performer will be noticeably affected and may not deliver to his/her full potential. Studies have shown that proper Magnesium levels can help control the stress response. The Confidrex formulation utilizes magnesium to help maintain a healthy stress response that triggers less intensely, and calms more easily.
Blue Scullcap Blue Scullcap is known for its relaxing properties and its ability to calm nerves. A placebo-controlled double blind study of the therapeutic efficacy of Blue Scullcap found a statistically significant reduction in the onset of anxiety.
Methylcobalamin
(Vitamin B12)
Methylcobalamin is the form of vitamin B12 active in the central nervous system. Vitamin B12 is required, in combination with other B vitamins, to maintain a healthy nervous system, sustain energy levels, and produce good DNA. Research shows methylcobalamin supports higher energy levels, emotional stability, and mental clarity. Studies have also shown it to enhance memory and nerve function.
Fennel Seed Fennel Seed has historically been used as a digestive aid. It has been shown to be effective at relieving anxiety-related gastrointestinal upsets.
Passion Flower Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata) is a plant native to North America, and found mostly in the Midwest and Southeast. Recent research verifies that standardized Passion Flower extract can be effective for reducing anxiety and promoting a positive outlook.
L-Theanine L-Theanine is an amino acid found in green tea leaves. Studies demonstrate that L–Theanine helps induce alpha–brain wave activity, producing a pronounced feeling of tranquility without any sedation effects. Study group subjects have reported a calm, yet alert state similar to that achieved by meditation. L-Theanine also stimulates the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter that promotes a sense of well being and boosts confidence.
5-Hydroxytryptophan 5–HTP is an amino acid derivative that occurs naturally in the body and converts directly into the important neurotransmitter serotonin. Serotonin is a powerful brain neurotransmitter and is a key factor in determining mood. Some studies suggest that 5–HTP supplementation can help create a more relaxed state and a reduction in the onset of panic attacks.
